Workshop was conducted in Batumi , Hotel Radisson Blue. Event was organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP), National Intellectual Property Center of Georgia (SAKPATENTI), United States Embassy Georgia. Project made possible through funding by the U.S. Department of State.

On March 27rd General Meeting of APCRG has elected new management - APCRG Board. Following persons have been elected as Board members:

On the position of Board Chairman have been nominated and unanimously elected Mrs. Marina Giorgobiani (Sanofi-Aventis)

APCRG Executive Director  I.Margvelashvili have been  invited to membership of Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) Clinical Council. Members list of Clinical Council and Council mandate  have been approved by the Academic Council of TSMU

In Geneva, Switzerland on June 21-22 nd, took place IFPMA Heads of Associations and Council meeting. There were presented participants from national pharmaceutical Associations from more then 30 countries from all over the world. Meeting was conducted by the IFPMA Director General Mr.Eduardo Pisani and IFPMA President Mr. David Brennan. Invited speakers :

The representative office in Georgia of Turkish pharmaceutical company Abdi Ibrahim has joined to our association. In Washington DC, USA, on February 1-3 , took place Georgian-American Forum “Georgian Health Care 2020: Medea 2011”. APCRG was invited by the Georgian Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affair (MLHSA) as an of official delegation member. APCRG was represented by Executive Director Mr.Irakli Margvelashvili who made a presentation regarding the pharmaceutical market development in Georgia. Event was held under the patronage of First Lady of Georgia Mrs. Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs. The forum was attended by the Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affair and by other representatives of MHLSA, representatives of Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, deputy chair of Parliament of Georgia Mr. Gigi Tsereteli, Rector of TSMU, representatives of TSU, Head of Clinics, representatives of various international and non governmental organizations, representatives o private sector, Georgian physicians working in USA. The guest of honor on the opening session of forum was Minister of Health of USA Mrs. Kathleen Sebelius.

he representative office in Georgia of French pharmaceutical company Fic Medical  was accepted as a new member of APCRG. Company Fic Medical represents in Georgia the products of five French pharmaceutical companies ( BOUCHARA RECORDATI, ROSA PHYTOPHARMA, MAYOLY SPINDLER, NIGY, OMEGA PHARMA ) and since 2011will represent products of  Italian pharmaceutical company RECORDATI.

In Washington DC, USA, on November 09-10 th, took place IFPMA next Assembly. There were presented more then 200 participants from national pharmaceutical Associations and international pharmaceutical companies from all over the world. There were representatives from WHO and other international organizations, representatives of
