On April 17th, General Meeting of APCRG members have elected members of APCRG Board. Following persons have been elected as Board members:
M.Giorgobiani (Sanofi- Aventis),Z. Charkviani (Richter Gedeon), M. Khetsuriani (Servier), L.Varduashvili (Abdi Ibrahim), G. Gvinephadze (GSK).
On the position of Board Chairman have been unanimously elected again Mrs. Marina Giorgobiani (Sanofi-Aventis)

On April 17th, General Meeting of APCRG members have endorsed APCRG Code of Practice elaborated by APCRG members. Code is prepared based on principles developed by International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA), World Medical Association , International Council of Nurses, International Federation of Pharmacists. APCRG recognise the role of Ethical Criteria for Medicine Drug Promotion provided by World Health Organization in 1988 (pls.see link below- click on Code image)

The official ceremony of Code endorsement will take place in Tbilisi, on May 20th.

On November 6th,  on General Meeting of APCRG members have been  elected  new  member of  APCRG Board: Mr.Levan Varduashvili (Head of Representative Office of company Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals) .   Vacancy for  Board member  has been announced after when Board member  Mr. G.Ramishvili (Hoffman La-Roche)  has  been appointed on the position of  Director of Roche Khazakstan office and temporarily left Georgia.

On October 9th, at  Hotel Sheraton Metekhi Palace Tbilisi,  APCRG has organized round table, meeting there were invited representatives of  WHO, Director General of State Agency of Medicines of Estonia and   representatives of Georgian Drug Agency.   Visit of WHO representatives in Georgia has been initiated by MoLHSA Georgia in order to evaluate existing drug regulations and regulatory environment. APCRG members  shared with WHO  representatives (representatives of Health Technologies and Pharmaceuticals Division of Health Systems and Public Health) and  with Director General of  "Ravimiamet" (State Agency of Medicines in Estonia) Mrs. Kristin Raudsepp,  APCRG analyses of  present regulatory environment in Georgia and APCRG recommendations for it's improvement.  Guests of Georgia will prepare their analyses of situation and elaborate WHO  recommendations for the improvement of  regulations  

In Geneva, Switzerland on July 09-11 th, has been conducted IFPMA Heads of Associations and Council meeting. There were presented participants from national pharmaceutical Associations from about 45 countries from all over the world. Meeting was conducted by the IFPMA Director General Mr.Eduardo Pisani and IFPMA Vice President Mr. M.Nogimori (Chairman Astellas Pharma). Invited speaker : Mr. Christopher Game (The Global Fund)
Have been approved new memebr applications:AbbVie, Leo Pharma, UCB, AIPM Ukraine

In Geneva, Switzerland, on October 31st, was held 26th IFPMA Assembly.
APCRG was presented by Executive Director Mr.Irakli Margvelashvili.
On Assemby have been discussed various important and global issues. Was elected new IFPMA President Mr. John C. Lechleiter (Chairman, President and CEO, Eli Lilly and Company) .
