In New York City , USA, on November 3-5 th, took place IFPMA Assembly. There were presented more then 200 participants from national pharmaceutical Associations and international pharmaceutical companies from all over the world. There were representatives UN and other relevant IGOs, Governments, NGOs, Foundations, Patient Organizations and Disease Research Organizations, etc..

During the 1st – 8th November, 2014 period group of young people voluntarily carried out a research in partnership with Association of Pharmaceutical Companies Representatives in Georgia (APCRG). The research included using the provided questionnaire in order to acquire information about the main influences on the buyers’ choice of medicine purchased in Tbilisi pharmacies. There were interviewed 528 persons, who purchased medicines in Tbilisi pharmacies. The main part of interviewed persons (58%) has answered , that purchase was made following doctors advise, on the second place (18% of answers) was the advice given by pharmacist within pharmacy visit time, 16% of buyers made a choice following friends advise and 8% bought medicines under influence of advertisement
San Diego State University - SDSU (USA) has founded branch in Georgia, SDSU-Georgia. Project is supported by Millenium Challange Corporation. SDSU -Georgia has established local partnership with Georgian Technical University , Ilia State University and Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University

APCRG Executive Director I.Margvelashvili have participated in 6th International Pharmaceutical Competitiveness Conference, held in Yerevan, Armenia, at September 26-27th. Coference was organized by Medicine Producers and Importers Union of Armenia (MPI Union Armenia http://www.pharmunion.am/). I.Margvelashvili was iinvited by MPI Union as a speaker. On April 17th, General Meeting of APCRG members have endorsed APCRG Code of Practice elaborated by APCRG members. Code is prepared based on principles developed by International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA), World Medical Association , International Council of Nurses, International Federation of Pharmacists. APCRG recognise the role of Ethical Criteria for Medicine Drug Promotion provided by World Health Organization in 1988 (pls.see link below- click on Code image)

On November 6th, on General Meeting of APCRG members have been elected new member of APCRG Board: Mr.Levan Varduashvili (Head of Representative Office of company Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals) . Vacancy for Board member has been announced after when Board member Mr. G.Ramishvili (Hoffman La-Roche) has been appointed on the position of Director of Roche Khazakstan office and temporarily left Georgia.
On October 9th, at Hotel Sheraton Metekhi Palace Tbilisi, APCRG has organized round table, meeting there were invited representatives of WHO, Director General of State Agency of Medicines of Estonia and representatives of Georgian Drug Agency. Visit of WHO representatives in Georgia has been initiated by MoLHSA Georgia in order to evaluate existing drug regulations and regulatory environment. APCRG members shared with WHO representatives (representatives of Health Technologies and Pharmaceuticals Division of Health Systems and Public Health) and with Director General of "Ravimiamet" (State Agency of Medicines in Estonia) Mrs. Kristin Raudsepp, APCRG analyses of present regulatory environment in Georgia and APCRG recommendations for it's improvement. Guests of Georgia will prepare their analyses of situation and elaborate WHO recommendations for the improvement of regulations
